SANCTUARY USE REQUESTS

Our sanctuary is large and sunny with wood floors. We have padded folding chairs for 75 people and 6 folding tables [8 places per table]. We have some storage space if you need it. We have an audio system for playing CD's or tapes. There are two large speakers in the sanctuary.

If you want to use a microphone, you'll need to bring your own.

We have a kitchenette off the sanctuary, with small refrigerator and microwave.

Coffee equipment is available; please bring your own coffee supplies.

Please bring your own Portland garbage bags, and take them to the trash barrel when you leave.

We are in a quiet neighborhood and cannot have loud programs during the week, or late on week-ends.

There is a children's day care program downstairs. We need to have relative quiet during the day, and LOTS OF QUIET between 1 to 3 when the children nap. [e.g. take off your shoes, talk softly].

We are happy to post information about your class or service in our church newsletter, for free.

We request the following donations for use of our sanctuary:

LOFT USE REQUESTS

We also have a cozy office for therapists or wholistic practitioners. We prefer to rent it for the same day throughout the month.[e.g. have the same person rent it every Monday or Tuesday, etc.] We will rent half-days per month when available. If available, we will rent for one-time use.

This office is approved for counseling MaineCare clients.
The building has a ramp and a large lst floor bathroom to accommodate a wheel chair. However, the loft has stairs. If you wish to rent the loft on a regular basis, but sometimes need to have an accessible space, we can usually find a space for you on the main floor.

The loft can hold up to 5 people [per fire code] It is furnished with comfortable chairs and a rug. Art supplies are shared by therapists who want to use them. Book shelf space available. Large closet for storage and files. A/C in summer.
